A modern craft facility minutes from downtown Bardstown producing Ezra Brooks, Rebel, and the cult-favorite Blood Oath bourbon. Clean design, solid tours, and easy walk-up availability.
Lux Row is one of the newer facilities on the trail, and the modern design shows — clean lines, well-organized visitor center, and a polished tasting room. It doesn't have the historic charm of Maker's Mark or the sprawling grounds of Jim Beam, but it makes up for it with solid bourbon and a well-run tasting experience.
The portfolio is broader than most visitors expect: Ezra Brooks (their workhorse bourbon), Rebel (wheated bourbon), and Blood Oath (a cult-favorite finished bourbon series that generates serious collector interest). If you're a fan of any of these brands, seeing where they're made adds context to the bottle.
Lux Row works well as a complement to the bigger Bardstown stops. It's easy to book, rarely crowded, and takes about an hour — making it a perfect fit in the gaps between Heaven Hill and Maker's Mark.
Tour the production facility and end with a tasting of their core lineup including Ezra Brooks, Rebel, and (when available) Blood Oath. Well-organized and informative.
A more focused tasting experience with access to limited releases. Smaller group format.
Lux Row is very easy to visit. Walk-ups are common and a quick reservation a day or two ahead is plenty. One of the most hassle-free stops in Bardstown.
Clean, well-organized gift shop. Standard Ezra Brooks and Rebel bottles at MSRP. The real draw is Blood Oath — if the current pact is in stock, buy it. Blood Oath releases are limited and often sell above MSRP at retail. Getting one at the distillery for retail price is a win.
Lux Row won't be anyone's single most memorable stop, but it's a consistently solid experience with zero booking hassle and a gift shop that can surprise you (Blood Oath). It fits perfectly as a Bardstown gap-filler between the bigger stops. If you have 60–90 minutes free on a Bardstown day, this is an easy, rewarding use of that time.
