The bourbon itself is distinctive. Angel's Envy finishes their bourbon in port wine barrels, which gives it a sweeter, fruitier profile than traditional bourbon. Whether that's your thing or not, the tasting is a highlight — you'll understand what barrel finishing does to flavor in a way that's hard to learn from reading.
This is also the hardest paid booking on Whiskey Row. Weekend afternoon slots sell out weeks in advance. Book early or plan for a weekday visit.

The Angel's Envy gift shop is curated and well-designed — smaller than Buffalo Trace but more focused. Standard bottles are at MSRP. They occasionally have limited releases and single barrel picks available only at the distillery. The branded glassware and merchandise lean premium and make nice gifts.
